✨ Forbes celebrates Prunelle, natural beauty

Prunelle, the audacity of sweetness

A family story dedicated to skin care
It all begins in New York, in the bustle of a city that never sleeps. It's there that Margot Becquart, transferred for work, makes a discovery that will change her life. Suffering from eczema, I tested a CBD cream and within a few days, I felt an incredible difference. She wants to share this relief. And who better to accompany her on this adventure than her family?
She spoke about it to her mother, Christine Vonmeurs, who was always keen to care for her loved ones with natural solutions. Without further ado, her mother took charge of the formulations, seeking out the best ingredient synergies from French laboratories. Margot's sisters, Alexandra and Barbara, also enthusiastic, took charge of administration and customer service, ensuring that each order was treated with the same care as a precious gift. "We are four women united by a shared desire: to create restorative treatments, designed for the most delicate skin," says Margot.

Natural and caring formulas
Prunelle formulas, designed in Haute-Savoie, combine the precision of cosmetics
French brand with the power of natural ingredients. Bakuchiol, a plant extract, offers a gentle alternative to retinol, which is not recommended for atopic skin. CBD (cannabidiol), derived from hemp, known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, is present in the entire Prunelle range. Our products are designed to comfort the skin, without ever attacking it, emphasizes Margot.
Each treatment tells a story. The toning lotion refreshes, the purifying jelly rebalances, the anti-aging serum envelops the skin like a caress, and the moisturizing cream's texture comforts it. This summer, "La Chantilly," a creamy mousse, will complete the range to gently moisturize adults and children—it's suitable for babies' delicate skin. This future treatment, rated 100/100 on Yuka, is a source of pride for us! Margot explains.

A tribute and an ambition
And this name, Prunelle, where does it come from? It's a tribute to their beloved grandmother, Mamie Chou. She always told us that we were the apple of her eye. Carrying her love in the name of our brand was a no-brainer.
Now sold online, Prunelle aims to conquer French drugstores before expanding to the United States. Our products are made in France, but they carry within them the New York boldness that inspired us, says Margot. The visual identity, understated and modern, recalls the elegance of the famous checkerboards of the Upper East Side.

Prunelle is the story of four women, a loving grandmother, and a deep desire: to envelop each skin in softness, with treatments designed like a caring embrace.
